A master class to introduce you to the delights of Patisserie & Confectionery so you may pursue this wonderful craft at home and without any special equipment. You will learn how to make Sauce Anglaise and how to then transform it into Crème Brule and Vanilla Ice cream. From the remaining egg whites (the knack is not to waste anything!) you will be shown the art of piping meringue to present delicate shapes and vessels and how to make a delectable lemon meringue pie. Along with this you will practice some of the many uses of sweet pastry such as cloaking fruit and lining tarts as well as the fine art of creating the perfect brandy snap.
